Green Values

At Sultry Suds, we are constantly striving to make our product line and business operations as green as possible. We aim to make our products and practices environmentally sustainable and socially responsible.

Here are some of the steps we have taken to ensure we live up to this promise:

Production & Materials

• Our production facility is 100% green powered (www.bullfrogpower.com)
• Our soap packaging is made from 100% recycled paper
• Our product packaging is 100% recyclable
• We use certified organic ingredients in our products where possible, and we are working to increase the amount of organic ingredients we use.
• We removed palm oil from our soap formulae because of the unsustainable and socially questionable nature of palm oil production (see our news section for more information).

Social

• We are a member of Green Enterprise Toronto (www.greenenterprise.net), a network of green, local business
• We meet our transportation needs through Autoshare (www.autoshare.com). We use CarbonZero to offset our carbon emissions for each and every kilometre we drive.
• We ensure our suppliers and ingredients are ethically produced and sustainable before incorporating them into our formulae.
• We donate regularly to environmental causes (including www.leaftoronto.org)
• Office paper use is kept to a minimum, and whatever paper is used is 100% recycled

Partnering

• We distribute our product line through like-minded businesses.
• We partner with like-minded businesses to produce exlusive one-of-a-kind natural products (see our Private Label page for more info).
