We are proud to announce that Sultry Suds is now powered by 100% green energy. Choosing green, carbon-free power is an easy way to help fight climate change and create a healthier environment for future generations.
Bullfrog sources power exclusively from generators who meet or exceed the federal government's Environmental Choice Program EcoLogoM standard for renewable electricity. Their power comes from clean, emission-free sources like wind power and
low-impact water power instead of carbon-intensive sources like coal.
Conventional electricity production is among the largest industrial sources of carbon dioxide, a primary greenhouse gas that is linked to climate change. Electricity production is also a major source of pollutants including nitric oxide, sulphur dioxide, mercury and particulates that contribute to poor air quality and smog conditions.
By signing up for Bullfrog Power, Sultry Suds is supporting clean, renewable electricity producers who are displacing polluting and carbon-intensive electricity production on the grid. It’s a great way to support a cleaner, sustainable energy future.
Bullfrog is committed to increasing the amount of green power on our regional electricity grid systems in Canada by helping to develop new renewable generation facilities. Several new turbines have been commissioned in Canada to meet the needs of bullfrogpowered homes and businesses.

We are always striving to make our products as environmentally friendly as possible. Our latest step is to remove palm oil from our bar soaps. Palm oil production is connected with rainforest destruction, and consequently a decrease in biodiversity. This oil is present in countless food products, and also many soaps and cosmetics.
Most palm plantations are found in Malaysia and Indonesia, and thousands of square kilometers of rainforest are lost annually in order to clear the land for these plantations. Many species are threatened because of this deforestation, including Orangutans, Asian elephants, and the Sumatran Tiger, not the mention the effect it has on the planet's air quality.
We have worked hard over the last year to develop a formula that offers the same skin-soothing properties without compromising the environment. The result is a soap that is more environmentally friendly, more moisturizing and more luxurious!
Our new soaps look and feel the same as the old ones, but they now contain pure olive oil, coconut oil, certified organic soya bean oil, fair trade shea butter, and vitamin E. The soap lathers just as beautifully, lasts just as long, but is creamier, more moisturizing and totally earth-friendly. We will also continue to print our soap labels on 100% post recycled paper.
